Abstract
For running power toward your de-icer, bring out the electrical wire out of your pump through a hole that you drilled on the basket for aquatic plants.

For safety, install an electrical GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter)  outlet next to your pond. Use an electric extension if necessary to connect the pond de-icer.
