  STEP-BY-STEP DIRECTIONS :
 
 
  BROWNIES

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch square baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Melt the butter over low heat in a large saucepan; remove from heat.

Stir in the cocoa powder until well combined.
Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla, and mix well.

Gradually stir in the dry ingredients and chopped walnuts until fully combined.

Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.

Do not overbake.

Let cool completely before frosting or cutting.
 
 
 
  FROSTING

Melt the butter over low heat in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat.

Stir in the cocoa powder and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the powdered sugar and milk, mixing until smooth and spreadable.

Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies, then cut into squares.
