CHICKEN CHOW MEIN

STEP-BY-STEP DIRECTIONS

|
|
In a small bowl, whisk together
all the ingredients for the
sauce and set aside.
Cook
the noodles in boiling water,
rinse with cold water, and set
aside.
In a wok over
medium-high heat, add the sesame
oil, cut the chicken into small
cubes, add the spices, and
roast.
Remove and set
aside. |

|
|
Add
the carrots, peppers, onions,
cabbage, and garlic to the wok
and sauté for a few minutes.
Add the chicken, bean
sprouts, and noodles, and mix
well.
Cook for a couple
of minutes and then add the
sauce.
Cook for another
two minutes.
When done,
garnish with the scallions.

carrot, shredded 4 scallions,
