STEP-BY-STEP DIRECTIONS

MEATBALLS
Preheat
the oven to 365°F (185°C) and
line a baking sheet with
parchment paper.
In a
bowl, thoroughly mix all the
ingredients together and form
into meatballs. Place the
meatballs on the parchment paper
and bake for 25 minutes, turning
them halfway through.
Next, prepare a sauce of your
choice, add the meatballs to the
sauce, and cook over medium heat
for about 30 minutes. |

SAUCE
In a
saucepan, pour the water and
vinegar and bring to a boil over
high heat.
Add the sugar,
garlic, fish sauce, ketchup, and
crushed dried chili pepper.
Reduce the heat and let it
simmer for about 5 minutes.
Dissolve the cornstarch in 2
tablespoons of water and stir it
into the saucepan, stirring
constantly for about 2 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the
heat, as the sauce will thicken
as it cools.
Pour the
sauce into a small bowl or jar
and serve as a condiment, dip,
or marinade.
