Trapping Fish in a Pond
Idea for

Best place to install
a fish trap : |
|
It has a funnel
entrance that allows the fish to be trapped.
You can add bait to the net to attract the fish.
A few pellets of food and you're good to go!
To make the opening larger, I've attached a rope
to tighten the funnel. This makes it easier for
fish to enter (after a few tests)!

The cable I've added
allows me to throw the fish trap into the water
and place it properly.
The cable also allows me to remove the net with
the fish without having to enter in the pond!
When placing a collapsible fish trap, I'd
recommend a spot that's at least partially
submerged in water.
The best place to set the trap should be areas
in the pond which are frequented by fish. |

For small fish
including juveniles, set the trap along the
edges of the pond.
Fish that enter the
trap pass through the funnel and can't find
their way out.
This fish trap is practical, lightweight, and
easy to clean. Happy trapping! |
